But my truck was costing me too much. around 1000 per month in gas insurance payments etc. just not worth it for me right now.

sold it for $16700
i got 500$ less than i paid so thats all good. you guys have been great, thanks for all the support.

Have to ask the question, what's replacing it as the primary mode of transportation?

I thought about selling too! Gas is costing me a grip but I come to terms with it and realize that it is what it is... The Supercrew serves me well, very roomy for long trips, smooth on the road, can haul and tow more than I need and very luxurious inside. Now, if I got a v6 suv, gas is not that much better. I know because I drive my moms 4runner every now and then. Plus my life style requires a truck, I fish a lot, ride my dirt bike, go camping, mt bike, snowboard and haul stuff for my side job. Not to say a suv cannot handle these duties but the F150 is just a great value for me so I don't mind the gas.

I do that too! I actually love riding my Fuji road bike to work. That thing only weighs like 16 pounds and it cruises. But I only ride on sunny days which mean barely ever since I live in Portland.
