Agreed! That's some serious sun damage, your clear coat is probably crying. I'd wax it. I'm going to use Krylon Fusion for plastics this spring on mine to clean up the aging process as well

Appearance is definitely night and day. Im going to see how the coating holds up amd hopefully wont have to retouch them

I agree man. It being an 04 i think it has had quite a bit of sun. I will get a good coat on their tomorrow if it reaches a decent temp here. Thanks for the advice,

I have been thinking of coating mine, I also want to coat the bull hooks but mine are retractable so not sure how that will work...
The tailgate part sounds the hardest.

Damn! I was going to buy all new bed rail caps because my are starting to fade too (but definitely not as bad as yours) and replace them when I get the new bedliner sprayed, I guess ill just ask if they will spray the rails as well. Thanks for saving me $200! Thats half the cost of the bedliner right there!!

I did the exact same thing to mine before i sold it and to the nrw one i bought. I used the same bed coating for the bed rails and bumper cover. I liked it better than the krylon fusion i used on the cowl. I like the grit that it gives in those places.
