Default BDS lift

Ive been looking for lifts for the past few months and I decided Rough Country was all i needed cost about 1300$.i dont do any crazy off roading mainly for looks at car shows. I was ready to pull the triger before Christmas but i decided to wait. Glad i did because the other day i found a brand new in the box 6" BDS lift for 1000$ on fb!!!! Went and picked it up last night only an hour away from me. Seems like a deal cause online they go for 2300$ Im so pumped!!! I got a quote from a local shop on 700$ to install. Any thaughts on this and anyone got pics of a BDS lift? Pic is my truck now will post more once lift is on

I paid a buddy of mine $500 and helped him out the whole way. This was 4 months ago and he will not honor his work and re tighten everything. Point being is I should have paid $700 and just dropped it off for the day to someone I didn't know but YA know what they say about "buddies"........... They @%#+ you !

Meh.. I wouldn't go out of your way to hate on your buddy.. After a lift install it is customary to get under the truck after a few hundred miles and retighten and check every bolt you touched.. It will probably take you about 20 minutes to do this yourself.. Having a few bolts loosen up is completely normal as the components settle and break in...

For the $700 either of you guys would blow on the install, you could have went and bought all the right tools and learned how to do it yourself by following the directions.. Just Sayin...

It was worth the money because he owns a shop and I did get to learn the install from beginning to end. It took all of 6 hours which Is pretty good timing. Some ppl are just lazy I guess or just don't take pride in their work.

I'm pretty sure bds has a no bs warranty too. Why not do the lift yourself, I just lifted my buddy's ranger 6 more inches over newyears. Took 3 days. Not hard at all. Your Truck your money. Haha best of luck on what you decide.
