Hello eveyone, I have a 2005 F150 with the 4.6. I am having trouble with battery light staying on. I have replaced the altenator, And the battery is less than a year old. I have taken the truck to the parts store and had everything checked and it checks out good. Yet the light on the dash stays on and the truck seems to idle rough. Has anyone else had this problem? if so can you help me with a fix??

I also have this problem. And my truck says check charging system. Though mine doesn't idle rough. I would like to know too

Check for a malf battery cable or ground connection at the frame. If these are good check out https://www.f150forum.com/f4/alterna...-problem-12668 you will need a VOM to properly test these fusible links. You can pick one up at Lowes or Home Depot. You want to follow Bucko's # 7 thread reply closely. You are dealing with high amp carrying wires containing fuseable links inside them.
