2005 5.4 fx4. So my truck Died the other day while driving. Figured it was the alternator but took both it and the battery to O'Reilly s and had them tested. They charged the battery and said it was fine and tested the alternator 3 times (I didnt believe the machine) and determined it was also ok. Cleaned up my terminals cuz they were pretty bad and the truck ran fine for a couple days (more time than running on just the charged battery would allow)
But then yesterday died again. Had a buddy jump me and I got to my house and the thing would run all day if I let it. Tell thismorning went to start it dead again. Jumped it but its dying now..fusable link maybe? I don't know how to test and would hate to buy a knew one and that not be it. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
