At least on the uppers... and I believe it after having a shop put in new ball joints upper and lower and they only lasted 25k miles approx.
Replaced upper control arms ball joints included, yesterday
as long as quick struts and sway bar links. Plan to do rear shocks today.

Basically as much trouble with ball joints as I've had on my truck, yes its well worth doing while your in there already.

This is untrue. Just a few days ago I removed my OEM UCAs and installed ICON Uni-Ball UCAs. Although the holes are round there bigger than the bolt so misalignment can be possible. I was shocked with the amount of movement they had! The ICONs install using Factory hardware so it wasn't that the ICONs came with a small bolt or anything.
