Has anyone mounted a Baja Champions Light Mount on their 2008 F150? Everywhere I look they say...up to 2007. Is there a difference between the 07 and 08 third brake light mount?

Also...if anyone did mount one...see any problems cutting off the backward facing plate? I have a BackRack and unsure if it will hit it.

I have been looking at them as well and thinking about cutting the back off so a cap would fit on my truck

I would think it should fit. I dont see any difference in the 3rd brake light design for 2008. My guess is that those adds were posted in 2007 or before, before they knew the 2008 was going to be the same.

Thanks. That was kinda my thought too.

I considered the sport light mounts for the BackRack. But, they look flimsy and like they'd fall down with a bigger offroad light. Thought about welding up my own similar to these too...but with tabs in front and back to keep it from rotating forward or backward.
