Default Bad shuddering/jolt from overdrive??

I have noticed this here lately when running about 50 mph and go to give it alittle gas, the truck starts to shudder/ jolt like its missing the shift from overdrive to downshift for more power? Is this a sign my transmission is going or is it just a bad converter? Every other gear shifts perfect, up and down, except for that crusing 50 mph when im going up a hill and push the gas alittle, the whole transmission seems to shudder and miss.....

should i just drive with OD off?

Sounds like it's time for new spark plugs or possibly a bad COP.....I had the exact same issue in my 06...thought it was the tranny as well.......

COP is Coil over the plug. its the plug in top of the spark plug.
easy to change. i did all this and still have the shudder, but most times, seems that new spark plugs and new cops fix the problem.
in 2004-2008, cops are very easy to change. in the passenger side, just remove the computer (not big deal, disconnect the battery first, then remove the bolts (4 for the computer, 3 for the mount), for easier reach.
