Default bad cat or oil leak?

engine light came on 3 days in a row.past 2 days,no engine light.today it went on again.i had it scanned at autozone.

within the 3 days it was on,i had it scanned at oreilleys.they stated o2 sensors picking up diff readings from smog so it may not be a bad cat? i'm thinking it needs cleaned out with seafoam?

past 2 days lights not been on.today it did.

i had it scanned at autozone (needing 2nd opinion)

they printed out the error code.im trying to narrow down the exact cause.here's the actual print out picture.

we have 3 diff causes: engine misfire, large vacuum leak or (i pray to god it isnt this) engine oil leak into exhaust-valve guide seals, pistons rings.

i've done my fair share of mechanical work, but this is new for me.what's your strong opinion?

Are you experiencing any symptoms or signs of misfire? How does the exhaust smell? Have you changed any plugs? How many miles on the truck?

There a few threads that can help you obtain a general idea behind this code (search feature)

Good god, I hope the plugs have been done once already, but if not, it's time again.

Bad plugs (hopefully) or possibly a bad fuel injector that had caused the cat to fail.

Did you take it to a shop? How did you find that it was clogged.
