Default badge removal

I am wanting to remove my f150 badges to paint them and I am not sure how to do that. Anyone wanna help???

Blow hot air on them with a blowdryer or heat gun then use floss to run behind it there is holes so dont remove unless your gonna put back on for sure or want holes in your door

What would you recommend putting back on to make it stick again once I'm finished?

Same thing that was on there, 3M emblem tape. Available at auto parts stores.
