Back Up Camera For Trailers
I'm buying my head unit today and need to get a back up camera for it. I don't really care about it doing anything other than letting me see my trailer hitch and having the colored grid to see how far away I am. Can someone please recommend a camera to go with? Something that's around $50 would be great. I'd like to get one that fits on the license plate. I know some of yall have got to have a back up camera for trailering boats and what not, right?

I still haven't installed mine... I've got no time lately, I'm always on the go with work. Figures, I've got time today, but its raining! I've got brand new bilstein 5100 struts waiting to go in too. Seems like every time I have time there is always a holiday, weather, or an event holding me back.

Hey Gator, I have one like the one on eBay, and I can see the ball and, the hitch when I'm hooking the trailer to the truck. Works OK but a better made one will have a more clear view.

I've got this one, it's pretty impressive for $15:
I got some water in mine when I was pressure washing my truck so now the lens is a little cloudy. Still works okay, I can see the hitch ball and other objects before I hit them, just can't tell very well what those objects are. I think I'll try to pry the lens off and clean it then re-seal it with some clear silicon. Worse case is I'll just buy another one and seal it before I put it on.

That posting is for 100 cameras for $1000, not 1 for $1000

Do you need to see you hitch while your diving?
I bought a cheap off of ebay and mounted on my plate. Seen allot of people drill through their plate. I figured it was the best place. Before I get yelled at.... Just because other people did it, doesnt make it right or legal. Works great, but I forgot to use the wire behind the unit, I have to do it manually till I do that.
