Back up camera

Look at the brand Fahrenheit will try and find the model. This camera is amazing! With no light at all pitch black at night it lights up the view like your lights are on. It's nighttime image quality is impeccable and very clear image.

I did the poor mans camera. $15 license plate mount from Amazon with a $23 monitor from Amazon. Both were pretty much plug and play. I double tapped the fuse box at the passenger side kick panel to power the monitor and spliced into the reverse light wire for the camera.
They both work great and have been installed for about 3 years now.

On my F150, I have the Pioneer AVH-X8500BHS with a $30 backup camera on ebay... works fine. I'm constantly powering the camera though with a separate reverse input wired for the deck. The 8500 allows me to turn the rear camera on while going down the road if I want.
On my wife's Fusion, I've put in my old Pioneer AVH-P3300BT with the same camera. The only difference is I'm powering it off of the reverse light circuit (it uses very little power).
In either case, I love having the camera on the dual-din. Pioneer uses a standard RCA connector and supports many different formats (PAL, NTSC, etc).
