Default Back to F150's

Hello all,

I haven't posted in a while, lurked from time to time, but I traded in my 05 F150 STX in on 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The jeep was great and all, but we bought a house, and I really needed easier access for the kids to get in the back, so a couple weeks ago I traded the jeep in on a 2007 F150 Lariat. Feels good to be back into a Ford. Especially one I am familiar with and know how to wrench on. Since I am a family man now, was single and in college when I had the other truck, I won't be as crazy on the mods, but I've got a few in mind. Anyhow glad to be back, hope I can contribute to the community.

Torn between a jeep and a f150 what would your opinion be since you have had experience with both?

That really depends on you. I had two f150's before I got a jeep. I was used to having a truck when I needed it. The jeep was a 6 speed which was ok, but there was a lot of down shifting with the old v6 the JK's had. I missed having all the torque the v8's had on demand and just driving, so it was a no brainer to get back into a truck for me, but the jeep was fun and it's definitely a unique experience. Just depends on you.
