Default Back end wobble at 50-60 MPH '05 STX

Just bought the truck with 120k miles on it. They just put brand new tires on it and aligned the front end. Ive noticed that when im cruising from 50-60 MPH i can feel and see the my back end "wobbles" from side to side. Not sure if i need to check the balance on the back end or if there is something else. This is my first f150 and first truck ive purchased so any help would be great.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I called the dealership and they balanced they balanced the tires and the wobble still isn't fixed

I'd get the rear tires balanced and ask them to check the rims to make sure one is not bent.

I had a similar problem on my 07. I got the "shake of death" when I accelerated around 45-55 MPH and at 2500+ RPM's. It was very intermittent, but When it happened it was terrible. I tried a bunch of different things to fix it, including dropping the driveshaft. It took me awhile to figure it out, but What ultimately fixed it was adding Motorcraft Friction Modifier to the rear differential fluid. You can pick it up for like 7 bucks at a Ford dealership. It smells terrible, but for 7 bucks I don't think you can go wrong. Here is a link to it on Amazon as well. Good luck.

Oh man, I know what you are talking about with that smell. I haven't had a diff. open in a while, but that smell takes your breath away.
