Default Axle wrap?

This might sound odd and it might not be accurate terminology for my problem but its what i think it is. Basically my truck consistently has some shutter after hitting an uneven place in the highway such as when new pavement begins or ends. Its not just a bump and some bounce after that. You can even see the effects in the RPM if you pay close attention. Anyhow, anybody else have anything similar happen to them?

^ Like he said, any mods? Also, how many miles do you have on your current shocks?

Never seen that. But axle wrap is usually a term used in drag racing. Typically on a leaf spring car or truck. Its the springs binding from the load. Your problem sounds like maybe bad shocks. Does it happen more if the bump is in a turn, like a big curve in the road?

Curves dont seem to make a difference. And if they did i would chalk it up to stiff suspension. We have a fire engine that does this same thing only on a much larger scale. It gets to bucking so bad you have to slow down. Part of it im sure has to do with the water in the tank. On my truck it works out pretty fast.

Default Axle wrap Wheel hop

I'm a Drag Racer mostly of Lightning trucks Most of the time Axle articulation or wrap occurs when the torque tries to lift the tire with least restiance ( Old Days Right tire burning off) even with a clutch type limited slip the Drive shaft rotation lifts that side and lightnens it so it spins freely with High Hp trucks with no weight on rear example 700 rwhp it will blow through to the left side and make driving FUN, Stiffer springs or Traction bars ( Long Bars are the best changes the way the u bolts hold the rearend in place and hook up to the Frame) Go to Lightning rodder and do a search there are all types depending on how much HP you want or will have, Note the long bars make the truck drive much better the cost about 450.00 though As all of you know you have to pay to play LOL

I wondered if some traction bars would solve the issue. I posted to see if anybody else has had this experience and tried to solve it that away with any luck.
