I have a 06 King Ranch. I have around 240k miles on her. I recently installed a 6 inch suspension kit on her and increased my tire size from 34 to 37. After about 2k miles on the kit, I began to hear this squeal coming from what seems to be the left front wheel well. It sounded as if metal is scrapping or something is rattling. My mechanic took apart my entire front end and nothing was loose. Could this rattling noise be engine-related and if so what can I do to get rid of it?

That noise got me too. I described the noise as a piece of plastic dragging on the pavement under the truck. very "grindy" sounding. It would happen randomly while driving. never at a particular speed. Integrated Wheel Ends. The auto 4wd actuators in the wheels are trying to engage due to lack of vacuum in the line. check lines for damage and the IWE can be checked with a small vacuum pressure tester. any parts store will have what you need. granted if yours is not 4wd then i'm not a mechanic either, just an 05' owner who hates noises not normal from his own truck.
