AWD leveling kit questions...
Hey everyone
My father just picked up a 2007 F-150 Harley Davidson with AWD.
Now, my 4x4 XLT Screw is leveled with 33” tires... so my father really wants to get his Harley leveled ‘perfectly’ like mine, as well as get some 33s or even 35s on his stock 22” rims...
Now, I was just wondering, does anyone know if there could be any issues with leveling an AWD?
And to get is truck ‘perfectly’ leveled as he wants, a 2.5” HBS leveling kit will do the trick vs. the 3”, correct?
Side question: should we go with the ‘regular’ HBS kit or the Billet Aluminum HBS kit?
Any information would help... (also, if anyone has 22 inch rims with 33s or 35s please post some pics!)
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

I believe the AWD option is just like what is offered in the Expedition and that is just electronics and T-case stuff, the suspension should be just the same so any of the usual level kits should work...

sooo, with a 2.5 leveling kit what size tire do you guys think we should run (on the stock HD 22s):
285/50-22 [OD: 33.2"]
305/50-22 [OD: 33.9"]
285/55-22 [OD: 34.4"]

Subscribing to this thread as I am also interested in a levelling kit for a 2010 Harley Davidson F-150.
There is a thread from another forum that discusses this somewhat.

...i have my HBS 2.5" leveling kit sitting right here beside me... still in the box...
the fact that i ordered it means i will probably end up installing it sooner than later, but part of me still wants to wait for a little more info...

I too will be doing a leveling kit and probably the 305-45-22 Nitto Dune Grapplers on my 08 Harley AWD.I have not seen any going the offroad route until the pic above. Most Harley guys lower them.Mine is N/A so speed is not the big thing on my mind.Plus I would like to go to the trails every so often and the factory street tires just won't cut it...I want to see more lifted HD F150's..Pics anyone???
