They worked great in the rain and quieted highway wind noise when cracked to about 2". I definitely know they are the only vent shade I will run on this truck....I wish alignment was a bit easier but once there on they stick like a champ. I also think painting your pillars gloss black will complement them perfectly!

mine came from http://www.streetsideauto.com/
part # 894010 for 04-08 supercrew
$75 shipped with coupon code

my sister ordered them at 7am thursday and they were delivered at 9am the next day!

I had it matched to the color on my vin#.... My local paint guy has the information on the exact color.... Its black with clear coat finish and it took 3 days... I pulled everything that was getting painted and prepped everything with a good sand job (especially those pillars), primed them, and had them professionally shot with color and clear. It was worth it to avoid the "orange peel" look that you get from rattle can clear coat, and all in one paints and primers...It also saved me a lot of time....
The key is a good sanding of the clear coat and then multiple additional coats of clear, to avoid the"orange peel" look. Then after that cures use a good rubbing compound, then a polishing compound, then a wax, In that order. Then your done!

If you go the rattle can method then UNI 1000 black from rust-oleum is the closest match to fords factory black (great match on my frame and axle). And the clear you need to do it all yourself is CC 1000 clear coat.
Good luck

Besides the smoking factor and being able to crack your window when it rains...do the sun shades have much other functionality?

I think the truck looks slick with the shades!
