Looks like you both might be right on this one. I had it in OFF before and the camera did not work. Today, i moved it to OFF and it still did not work. I then looked at the polarity, which was set to OFF. I changed this to Battery, and it looks like it is working now. I will let you know later on today if it still continues to switch to the camera randomly.

This is exactly what was wrong. Problem solved!
