Default Auxiliary Reverse Lights

Anybody done a write up on wiring up some auxiliary reverse lights? I tinted my tails and with 10 percent tint I can't see jack at night...I want some of those slim lights that aren't super visible but will do the job and want to wire them up to a switch in the cab...I know this isint hard but a write up to review before I start would be nice.

Dplummer, do those stay on the hitch when you remove the ball mount or does the ball mount hold them on like others I have seen. I want some that stay on even when the mount is removed.

Thanks

They can stay on without the hitch. I always have my hitch on though.
