Audiophile Aux + Sat?
I finally got my new to me '06 KR and found out the sat radio subscription is a lifetime sub. I had figured i'd just let it lapse in a few months and swap it out to utilize the aux input to connect my phone or something else for music.
Well, i'd like to keep the sat radio since its free; but I'd also like to be able to connect my phone either via BT, or even just a headphone jack. Is there any way to accomplish this? My search results have only turned up people looking to add one or the other. I did see someone say they could use the aux button to switch between DVD and SAT, but i'm not sure that applies since I don't have navi.

If I am reading this correctly, it sounds like you have a standalone satellite radio that plugs into your existing AUX input on the audiophile radio? If this is the case, your stock radio should already be equipped with a satellite radio antenna (found by pushing the aux button on the radio unit).
My only suggestion that could accomplish what you are wanting is to switch your satellite subscription from the standalone unit to the head unit in the truck.
Maybe if you provide more details, we can help you out better.
I apologize if I am way off track

I have the factory Sat radio; when I push "aux" i get my sat radio. What I want is to have an aux input that lets me connect my phone/mp3 player to the stereo - but there is no "aux" plug to connect a headphone jack to my stereo.

USA SPEC PA15-Ford2 is the part # it looks like it will give me sat radio, and also a headphone jack to connect (via RCA -> 1/8" Input converter)
some people also talked about an iSimple device but it seems to just be a bluetooth FM transmitter.
Not sure which route i'll take yet...but hope this helps anyone else who finds this thread by searching in the future.
