Default Audio problem

my stepdad and me installed an amp/sub combo ourselves AND we installed my sirius ourselves, my sub only picks up the bass....guitar, i want it to pick up the bass drums, since it amplifies the bass guitar so much alot of the singing/playing gets droned out, any help would mean alot, thanks!

does it have the built in cross over feature in it ??

i have not messed around with the high powered audio systems for about 10 years now but back then some amps had a built in cross over...dials that could change the sound going to your subs....try adjusting the dials on your amp....the check the settings in your head unit before assuming there is a problem with the installation.

also make sure the gain is not to high....if the gain is to high then you will only get load music from the sub while the rest of your speakers you cannot hear.

In my deck i have a low pass filter that i set to filter out the high pitches in my subs, i dont know if the sirius has it but that setting could be too high filtering out everything but really low pitches
