Armor All Trim and Plastic Restorer

Risky
My buddy is an insurance adjuster. He said that removing the bedcaps (04 FX4) was impossible without breaking most if not all the retainers. I took it as a challenge. I got both of them off....breaking only one retainer. I then painted them with Krylon Fusion (first washed and then wiped liberally with rubbing alcohol), by the way I recommend Purple Power for cleansing, and everything has been hunky dory since.
Of course I sent him pictures. As for removing the bed caps, I was very careful. If I had to do it over again, I'd use a heat gun on low to just warm up the retainers to lessen the risk of breakage.

I will caution you that's it's addictive, once your bedrails look new you want to do all the plastic on your truck......better order a few cans.
