Arm rest pad replacement?

Cons: - Buying one that cheap out of a wrecked truck means you do have to spend a good bit of time cleaning it. I had to completely disassembly mine as soon as I got it because it had just been getting things all over from other people there. - Some of the pieces may be missing when you get it. I.e. The cup holder inserts, the floor mat, and the little piece for the front cubby. - For me, I have a reg cab so I have a true two seater now and that's not a big deal to me but to someone else it could be.
Overall I'm much happier with the space of the center console over my old jump seat. Now for installation it's not really a pro or con. You pull up on the bottom cushion of your jump seat and there are 4 bolts. They have a T-40 drive on them and I bought a bit for a ratchet and it was super easy to take out. Then once the console was clean you just set it in, put the four bolts back in to their perspective holes and tighten it all back down. Put all your stuff in and enjoy. For some just doing that would be a hassle. For me I loved the fact that it was super easy and that I added a lot of storage.

I did the console swap too. I added one bit, took the rubber (or vinyl) cover off the armrest and added some additional padding. It's a bit domed now, but you wouldn't know it's different unless you were looking for it. SO much more comfortable.
I ended up (after selling my jumpseat) paying $125 for the console in good condition, no missing parts or anything.

Pros: - 4 cup holders that will easily fit 1 liter bottles in them if you take the inserts out. They fit all regular cup way better with the insert than the jump seat ever could. - Huge amount of space gain. There's almost 3-4 times the amount of storage space there was in my old jump seat. And if you lift the lid everything doesn't slide straight to the back like if you lifted the back of the jump seat up. - To me it makes the interior look so much better. My jump seat was really stained and like I mentioned, the pad broke off.

Btw is there enough room to mount a cb?

I'm currently looking at where I'm going to mount mine. There is a ton of room so it won't be a problem just don't want to hit it every time I want to get something out of it. Also I'm looking at mounting some switches for all my LEDs.

I'm putting my switches in the overhead console in frit of the map lights. Post pics of the cb install when you get it done.

Haha I don't have those luxuries. I'll definitely post when I get around to it. Doing dash lights next week and will probably try and tackle all the other stuff while I have the dash apart again.
