Default Anyone using the double din Chinese systems?

Anyone using the double din Chinese systems found on eBay in your 04-08 F150? Thoughts? Issues? Likes/Dislikes?

Not in an F150, but my son bought one for his car. He's had it for over a year, with no issues. It has the rear camera, GPS, DVD, and touch screen. The cost was around $289.00.

Still working. For a cheaper unit, It's good for the bucks he paid.

I put one in my buddy's silverado. sounds like the same thing Bucko put in his kids car. as for GPS and all the other stuff...works really good. didnt hook up the backup cam because it looked really ghetto lol. sound on the stock speakers he has is ample and crisp. also his DVD player had to be over ridden so he could have a movie playing while he is going down the road for his passenger. not hard to do but you have to tap some different wires in the stock harness.

I for one, would Really love to know who these units were ordered from. I've seen a LOT of bad "P.R." on some of these websites, where people pay Tons of money for some of this stuff, then get stiffed. A lot of Scams when it comes to the Chinese distribution sites.
I've been considering this an option for my Truck, but would love to get some Solid info on who-exactly this was ordered through. I've found a couple possibles that so-far check out, but I don't want to actually Jump, if there's a chance I can buy from a "Legit" distributor. Maybe you guys with the info could PM me the Contacts?
I'd really appreciate it.

This is the one I got last September when I bought my F150, it installed easlily and has worked flawlessly. The only option I wish it had was Sub Woofer control. The radio reception was not always the best in Ruaral Minnesota so I added an FM antenna booster in the dash, it was $12 I think. It only had to rerought 1 wire to a 12v source Cig Lighter to bypass the DVD not working while moving. The price seems to have gone up a little on the HU.

Here is the guy and Model I got.

I'm not recommending it as others have had problems and its "cheap" but... Mine has worked great!

EDIT: The GPS is better at finding locations than my Garmin 1250..

DO NOT cut your factory wires!! Got to autozone/walmart/etc and spend the 6 bucks on a harness!
