I've been looking around for a site that sells just the outer shell of a grille and cant find one. I have a chrome one now and was looking for a black painted one. I'm thinking of ordering a carriage works billet grille soon and wanted to find a shell to go along with it

I've seen them for sale here on the classifieds section, as well as Ebay. Your Ford dealer can order you one too, but it comes in primer and would have to be painted. Locating one in your color will make the search a bit harder, but you can find it.

Go to Ebay motors, find one of the many "used parts" sellers (just select one of their postings); then contact them and ask. Most of them advertise in their postings that you can contact them for a part you're looking for.
