I'm thinking about installing a 110v inverter in my truck to run some small power tools and camping equipment. Has anyone installed a second battery under the hood of their F-150 and where about?

I'm going off of memory here, but could you fit one in front of the antifreeze reservoir if you have a CAI and ditch the plastic intake that comes across that area?


Your best bet would be building a mount in the bed. Or maybe fab a tray and weld it to the frame behind the rear wheel.
