Default Anyone ever use Dupli-Color spray paint?

Has anyone ever used Dupli-Color spray paint to touch up a spot? I've got a few rust spots and some scratches that are primer-deep I want to learn to fix up myself, and Dupli-Color is inexpensive. But I'm wondering if it's inexpensive for a reason, or if it's fine paint and just a great deal. The truck is black (paint code UD, ebony). I understand how to do it, primer where needed, how to sand, clear coat, all that jazz, just wondering about the paint quality.

My brother did a front clip swap on his 97 to a 99+ f150 and used the duplicitous perfect match. With their clear, looks fantastic, nobody believes it's outta a spray can. Our dad showed us you have to lay it on heavy and wet for it to flow out. Now I tried Dark Shadow Metallic on my truck, and it doesn't match that well, so I'd recommend it for solid colors over a metallic. But I bought their overpriced touch up pen and it matches decent so idkAnyone ever use Dupli-Color spray paint?-photo534.jpg

I can't even tell what part was painted, so that's good. My truck isn't metallic / flake, only regular gloss black. I'm glad you had good results with it. What did you use for clear coat?

FYI His gender flares are also painted with my mismatched grey can they look good! And I'm the pic, the grill looks different than the fender, I can assure you it's just the photo and angles of the fender

And it's nice and glossy? Is it durable?

Just as glossy as factory, now mind you we put many coats of clear on so we could wet sand and buff it to really make it shine. My brother said he has two or three chips in his now we both agree it's just as durable as factory.

That's great to know, thanks. I figured when it came time to apply clear, I'd apply probably three coats.

That sounds reasonable, we thought it was a good product with great results. Good luck

Just remember, aerosol cans clearcoat do not contain anywhere near the UV protection as HPLV applied clearcoat.
