Just noticed that the inside of my HVAC air ducts are filthy....coated in 10 years worth of dust and who knows what else. So I'm thinking of what would be the best way to clean them. A heavy duty swiffer style brush and a light spray cleaner? I suppose I could put a rag over the opening after a few passes and run the AC on high for a while, hoping to catch anything that got dislodged but not removed?!

Any suggestions? I'd rather not take the dash apart but will if I have to.

never tried it but what about one of those vacuum adapters for cleaning inside a dryer lint trap?
