Default Any tips for best Spark Plugs?

I have a 2004 5.4L 3v truck and was gonna change out the Spark Plug (since I have no clue when it was last done and I don't see anything on Carfax about it). "Thunder" is currently sitting at 130k miles.

I've heard a good Performance spark plug can improve throttle response and fuel economy, so I was wondering, which spark plug would you recommend?

Really? Guess I thought that there were better things out there...haha. Unless there's other things I can do to improve throttle response and fuel economy. Intake and exhaust has already been done.

Install yourself a fresh set of SP-515's and then buy a programmer...it will give you big time throttle response and improve you MPG.

Do you have any reccomendations for a programmer? I've looked at a few and they all have their boasts about themselves but I want something cost effective, easy to install (considering I'm not too mechanically savy) and gives me the best results.

Most programmers plug into your (I think it is called OBD port) which is under your stearing wheel. I use the one that came with my banks system and it just uploads settings to my vehicle and I am good to go... I hear the Edges are great and I have recently seen a lot of people talking about Gryphons.

Stick with the Motorcraft plugs. You might want to go ahead and buy the spark plug removal tool before you decide to tackle the job. I broke 4 out of 8 on mine and that tool saved my tail! Take your time and make sure to read the sticky on the spark plug replacement!
