Oh I agree but dont really have a reference like you do...still gotta believe you can find it for cheaper but then again I am not in the paint industry.

The worst part is it only available from one manufacture. So its only available to certain auto body supply shops.

Default Think I figured it out

Seen this website on a few different posts, http://www.paintscratch.com/ , kind of past by it at first because they didn't show "white sand metallic", however after emailing them they told me to check inside my drivers side door for the paint code, PV, which turns out to be the same as "white chocolate metallic". Anyway they send you everything you need to do a proper tri-coat. They seemed very knowledgable and were pretty helpful, so I think I'll try ordering through them and give it a shot on my own, for a few hundred bucks it worth a shot!

That's a lot cheaper than 2 grand! Let us know how it turns out!

They don't ship anything bigger than touch up sized paint bottles to Canada, so the search continues......
