Any ideas here?
My 2005 5.4L has started a hesitation issue and especially when the air is on it almost is like it bucks hard when rolling on occasion.
The issue isn't at every take off or rolling along so it's a brainteaser after all I have done to alleviate it.
NOTE....... No codes ever present.
This is what I've done to address it:
1. Change coil packs, plugs (ACCEL coils)
2. Clean throttle body.
3. Replace TPS.
4. Did a intake and injector service (BG brand)
5. Replace the fuel filter.
6. Did the pedal relearn technique.
7. Replaced the MAF sensor.
8. Foam around the air filter replaced.
9. Alternator checked for proper voltage.
The truck runs like a scaled dog when getting on it and no skipping, missing during this. The slow easy starting out or rolling along 55-65 seems to initiate the hesitation and bucking with the ac on and goes away when the ac is off it seems non existent or evident.
I'm going to hook up the Verus Pro and watch the PIDS to see where this crazy issue arises from if possible. It's got my Ford mechanics scratching their heads as well as other wrench heads.
Do ya think the pedal sensor could be bad being as it's not a "by wire" setup?
Discuss.

What brand of plugs did you put in? Have you checked the condition of your FPDM?

Guess I'll have to make the plug change out again. I replaced the FPDM and the old one was one with Ford Motor Co. stamped on it. It wasn't ate out or galled up etc. when removed.
$114.00 part swap out and the stumble or hesitation with the AC on wasn't as noticeable BUT, something the same but, not as bad is still there.
Damn guy who designed these heads with this kind of plug design needs to be demoted to "complete fool" job position.
RRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr............. more $$$$$ spent on worthless plug parts.
