Default Any experience with Xentec or JLM HID?

Anybody have any experience with either of these HID brands? Both are $41.99 on Amazon. Have about the same 3.5 star reviews. Would I need a relay harness with these?

I bought a Xenetec kit off of xtralights for my motorcycle years ago. It didn't last even one riding season. Xtralights refused to return my emails and messages, so their warranty was worthless. I bought a fog and headlight kit for my Passat from Retro-Solutions and it's going strong several years later.

No you would not need a relay harness, you would need projectors. My reading has led me to believe both brands are junk. Look up "clearview" on Amazon, a little bit more money, but great reviews:

PNP vs. Projector Retrofit. Which do you think looks better?

PNP:

If you are gonna do it, why not have something that looks good AND greatly improves visibility?

And trust me...you don't want to go with 10000k as suggested above. Seriously, this will be your visibility with 10000k headlights:

Sorry, my link was for 10k, but get the 6k, you change it before paying. Also get projector lenses, dont use these in halogen reflectors.

You can use your oem headlight housings, lots of people do it. I say go retro-solutions tho. I've had their kits in a couple of my cars and they work great. Not one failure in years.

I think im going to go with the JDM tuning setup. Or retro solutions. Not sure. Should I get 35w or 55w? What's the difference?

I have xentecs currently and no issues to speak of. I had xentecs in my old Acura as well in the fog lights and they worked perfectly for me.
