Any experience??
I have a 2006 King Ranch.
">
Looking to do the following:
1) leveling shocks. I want to raise the truck about 2".
2) Does anyone know of a way to do anything different with the chrome shift **** on these trucks? It just reflects the sun sometimes and is blinding.
">
3) Does anyone know of any aftermarket cowls for these? The rubber ends have just deteriorated off to nothing and now the metal strip up the sides of the windshield lift out at speeds over 70mph.
My stereo upgrade went just amazing. Went with a 2012 Kenwood Double Din stereo head unit with all the upgrades it has. Back-up camera, bluetooth and navigation then added all the JL Audio top line speakers and amps. Lastly added the JL Audio Stealthbox and WOW this dude is AWESOME!!!..Added the dynamat soundproofing inside the doors and everywhere else we could put it.
Still have a few other projects later but these are in the front of my list.
Future MAYBE project::: Adding the Honda Ridgeline truckbed trunk to my F-150 truck!!! Have a few shops looking into what it would take...I think it will work!!! Just have to re-locate the spare tire.
Thank in advance for any help/advice!

got a 3" front 2" rear leveling kit for my truck from Hammerhead 4x4 on ebay. came with all parts necessary and shipped really fast. Ended up running me $150 since i did the install my self. My spacers were made of T26 aircraft grade aluminum and carbon steel.

looks like the shift **** problem is going to solve itself...about to fall off

As for the actual shift ****, I've seen people go to an upholstery shop and get a custom sleeve made for them. I was thinking about this with black leather and white stitching. It just might be in my near future
As for the silver lining around the shift indicator, I'd just sand it down, primer, and paint it. You can also vinyl the damn thing if you'd like. I placed an LED light in my shift indicator and the thing is so damn bright. I'm probably about to remove it, smoke the indicator out enough to where I can see the light in the dark and it's not blinding.
