Default Another tire question

I know this question has been beaten to death. I have been getting conflicting answers from what I have asked or searched for.....

aftermarket wheels....
18x10
-6 offset
5.25 backspacing
2.5 level kit
4x2

285/65/18 is what was reccomended to me from my local tire shop, ive read I can go 295/70/18 (w/ little cutting of plastic) for some reason they cant locate 295/70/18. Some also said I will run into issues with a 10" width wheel. My tire options are Toyo open country or nitto terra's.

Any help/tips/feedback would be nice, thanks!!!

I've had good luck with Toyo open country on my last truck and on my friends truck as well. A lot of people use the Nitto brand tires but the set that I purchased made me never want to buy again. The mileage I got out of them vs what I paid was ridiculous.

Which Nitto did you have and how many miles did you get out of them?

Must've been the mud grappler.. That's the only one that gets crappy mileage... The Terra's and the trails both exceed 45K...

OK, I am probably gonna bump this up again.

I have seen a forum member with this same exact set of wheels on, but he had 35' A/T.

Best deal I have found on some good tires are toyo M/T's 33/12.5/18 which came out to $1,310.00 mounted & balance.

I just thought I was bring it up again to see if I could get any more other opinions. Will the aggressiveness of the 33's require too much cutting? I would really hate to sell them because I got them for a good deal.

Again, any help will be greatly apppricated!!!!

Aggressiveness doesn't change the size.. 35's are around 34.8"... 33's are 32 something.. You shouldnt require any trimming unless your offset/bs is off or you went with a 11-12" wide rim
