Default another stereo question lol

ok i know im gona need the PIE connector or a line level convertor for the RCA's to the amp, but what about the turn on wire? could i just use the darkgreen/violet wire thats supposed to turn on the factory sub? mine doesnt have the connector so i guess im SOL? its pin number 4 on the plug. i know i could prob tap the fuse box for a ignition wire. alldata says less than 5ohms between the sub amp and radio. greater then 10k ohms between the sub and ground. think thatll work if i either get a connector or tap a wire into the back of the radio?

what kind of head unit do you have? every aftermarket unit I've put in had the RCA inputs on the back....
