Another engine dies while coming to a stop

It just dies. No warning and happens so intermittently. There is no power steering or power brakes. Nothing else appears to shut off. The air and radio keep running.

My 2007 4.2 L sputtered and died on me after slowing down to cross railroad tracks one night, would not restart. Replaced the fuel pump and it fired up but still wasn't right. It was also the fuel pressure sensor under the hood. Replaced the module above the spare tire too. Runs great now and getting better mileage.

What rpm does your truck idle at once warm?
If it's idling around 500 - 550 rpms, this is a common symptom of too low of an idle..
Sometimes a TPS (throttle position sensor) change will fix it. Other times raising your idle with a tuner and will fix it. It may be a sign of the throttle body aging, a bad TPS, or a bad servo side TPS sensor..

Truck idles at about 650-700 rpms when at normal operating temp. When the truck dies the rpms don't fluctuate at all either.
I'm just not thinking it is the fuel pump because it starts up just fine after it dies.

I had an old bronco that would idle and run great. It started stalling and then would start right back up, then it started stalling and would not start for hours. Turned out it was the fuel pump. It took a few months for it to graduate from start right up to no start for a few hours. Different trucks but initial symptoms seem the same. BTW, my 2004 FX4 idles at just under 550rpms and doesn't stall except when I am going through the battery relearn process and the idle drops down to below 500. It used to take about a week for the stalling to stop even when I did the relearn process but I ended up fixing that with a new battery. Relearn process good now, and no stalling afterwards. Bad batteries can wreck havoc on troubleshooting with these engines for some reason.
Good luck

It could be an ignition system problem.
Maybe it is not reading your key properly, therefore it is killing the engine?
I've had this issue on non ford vehicles.
Can't remember what got replaced but it had something to do with the ignition. Not sure how to diagnose it unless you get a non chipped key, try it, and it does the same thing.
Sorry for poor advice, just wanted to give a possible cause.
