Yea lol it comes in handy a lot, this wendsday in doing driver side and its 4x4 but the studs aren't as bad as the passenger side, the studs took us all day there were rusted as hell, hopefully the driver studs come out easier because they aren't as rusty and I put good amount of antiseize on the new studs that stuff is f-ing awsome I'm only 18 my dreams is to become a master mechanic for ford or gm or both and the only way to learn is to do the experience your self and learn from your f-ups, I don't let any mechanic touch my truck unless in their or its a project that I can handle but most of the time I do everything my self or I'm right next to the mechanic

I'm with ya on doing the work yourself. Hands on is your best instructor! I have always worked on my own vehicles and refuse to pay someone to touch any of my vehicles with a wrench!
That being said, I have been putting my passenger side manifold off for a few months now, waiting on my winter layoff so I will have time to tackle this nightmare lol.

Yea I have a family friend that has a small shop and a lift so I used his lift and tools because I dont have all the tools ( one day I will) and he guided me and helped me when i needed but I'm saving my dad $$$$ I try to rely on my self because I work for everything and I don't get things handed from my dad, Im not a daddy's boy ( unlike some people) and I work for my things obviously if I can't pay for something hell cover me but everything I can pay for comes out of my pocket and I'm a guy who loves to spend my money on my truck because it makes me happy and I enjoy working with my hands, I bought both headers for 120-180 ( can't remember) and I paid for it

But if you doing this on your drive way having fun a lift will help a lot

Hey guys I did driver side manifold today and I was able to complete it in 1 day when passenger side took me 3 days I had to remove the front diff to remove some screws I actuall did it all on my own today I told the mechanic there to leave me alone and I was quicker because I didn't have to wait for him
