There is an annoying rattle comng from the left side of my 2005 F150 Lariat SC 4x4. It started about 2 months ago. I happens upon acceleration from any speed and......it happens when the truck is running in park. It sounds like it is coming from my driver side front door. The rattle does not translate through the steering wheel or driver seat. I cannot feel it. Any thoughts on what culd cause this? I am reminded of a Ram that I used to have. Heard a similar noise. Turned out to be the front U joint. I could feel that issue as a vibration.
well...if it does it in park than leaves out the u-joint

I had a rattle that ended up being the skid plate rubbing the exhaust pipe. I grinder down the skid plate and no more rattle/squeak. I hope this helps. If not, maybe someone else.

I also had a similar rattle. Took me 9 months to locate. It was. The intake pipe where it goes into the fender The end had come lose and was just sitting there rattling around. Reinstalled making sure it was in the fender area correctly and the dam noise disappeared

^this... It makes kind of like a creaking noise.... Drove me crazy till I figured it out. Fixed and its gone....(And it usually got worse when it was colder.)

Yea i also have me air intake rattling. it just randomly showed up one day. It feels kinda loose in there ill have to take a closer look at the fender end of the intake. I thought it was more so the filter end of the pipe. Not to thread jack or anything but does anyone have their doors rattling or squeaking too? Mines a scab
I have a really annoying rattle as well, but mine is really loud. It only happens when i accelerate. It has been getting worse over time and it would only happen if i floored the pedal but now it happens if i go above 1200 rpm. It will stop if i let go of the gas.
