That looks great

The chrome boards didn't look right on your truck. Very good choice on those. I like how your truck looks taller when their up. When they are up can you tell you have them on there at all or are they totally hidden?

How much did you get them for?

Nice very nice

When they're up they tuck up tight to the rockers. They almost look like rock sliders that you might see on a trail rig. You only notice them if you look for them from the side. They almost sit totally flush.

I picked them up for a steal on Ebay. The guy was a tech or something for AMP. The setup came with new running boards, motors, and hardware. I paid $550 shipped... less than half what they go for normally.

Those are cool, but what if you open your doors if your truck is high centerd? Do they keep trying to open, or is there a way that you can kill the power to them?

They look very nice, but I dont have a use for them.

The truck might occasionally see snow if I go skiing, but it won't be off roaded. We have an '05 Nissan Xterra Off Road for that. I don't see the point in trying to take a full size truck on narrow trails that are meant for vehicles the size of Jeeps.

Thanks. And that Xterra is unbelievable off road... electronic locking diffs, hill descent control, and all kinds of other goodies. This is coming from a guy who has owned 5 Jeeps, the last one was a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited with a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift, CV driveshaft, and Gen II swaybar disconnects. You'd be amazed by the Xterra. I am.
