the center console wont allow for much ventilation for the amp, try under either front seats

to where i work and got one mounted behind the back seat... im not sure if that would give enough space to cool down... but i would be albe to lose some of it to the metal of the cab

under one of the front seats would be your best bet.

THAT WAS ME!

Lol. But on the supercrew there is a way to remove the rear top portion of the seat and mount it to the back of the truck. There is a large amount of room back there once you get the seat off. I have my 4 channel kicker amp back there now, and plan on putting my JL amp there as well. The place the guy works at was not aware that you could mount the amps back there. Well i pulled up the tutorial of how to remove the back seat I found of f150online and they were amazed. They are glad they found a new way to install amps now, and you dont have to worry about having people kick them.

I removed the carpet padding stuff to give more room. It has weird shapes in it that cause you to lose room. I used both because they give different views. It just takes some time to find the clips and get them free. It helps if you push down on the seat as you try to pop the clip free.

I think it is mounted in the middle towards the top. Then my JL amp is going to be mounted below it.
