Im thinking just the opposite. Im old enough to remember when all you saw were single cab trucks. The extra, super and crew cabs still seem weird to me. I bought a single cab because I wanted an 8' bed without having a truck longer than my garage. Its a truck, not a passenger car.

I looked at all 3 cabs before I purchased. The supercrew would of been pointless for me due to the small bed and the fact I don't have kids to put in the back. I went back and forth between supercabs and standard cabs and was annoyed that all the standard cabs were XL's. So I just hit my buddy up that has a lifted 97 f150 standard cab Lariet and he sold it to me. Im in love with how it looks being a long bed and having a 6 inch lift. Sure it would be nice to have the extra room but for now its just my girlfriend and I and my 10" bass tube fits nice behind the seat. If we roll with friends we go in my buddies F350 crew cab. =)

I went from a 1998 single cab to a 2008 Scab and I love it. The extra space is great. I loved my 98, but I will never get another single cab again.

I like having a regular cab because u don't see as many of them lifted out there. I mainly use it to pull a small boat and have fun on trails and when the need for more seats comes up i use my expo.
