Am I missing something, or are 20" tires cheaper than 18"s?

Whats considered cheap though? i got my 295/70r18 Trails for under $1200. Not bad for nearly 35" MTs.

There's no way i could truck 37s as of right now the biggest tire i have tried is a 285. But 285/65/18 tires are outrageously priced. Atleast around here.

Right after I got my liscence the tire shop had a sell going on it was $880 for 285/65/18 nitto terra grapplers mounted and balanced all that good stuff. I went back a couple months later when I needed tires and they had went up to $1200 I believe it was.
