Go for it! These trucks are built to last... I would definitely recommend regearing it though after the lift. If you're going to throw money into it, do it right

I was told the same thing but I said to hell with it and left it on. The ride isn't to bad it rides like a lifted truck. Not as nice as a high dollar lift I'm sure, but the leveling kit in the front makes it a little rougher. I wanted to keep it in so I'll be running 37s after these shoes wear out.

I'm with everyone else. I have the 4.6 on my 06, almost 170k and still running fine. I change oil every 3-4k miles, and all other fluids when recommended. Even if its just a little dirty. I am about to get a 6'' in a couple weeks if the job stays good. But why cant you run factory wheels? I was planning on doing that till my tires run out. Then swap the tire/wheel combo at once. Is it just zone or what?

I think it has something to do with the size of rim you have. I was told my 18 inch factory rims would be ok but the smaller rims like 16 inch wouldn't work on zone.

My truck is a lariat so it came with 18s. If I remember correctly it has to do with the offset. I am still running 18s but they are KMC Monsters. It is specific to the lift brand. Some lifts will allow you to retain factory wheels.

How's the angles on your cv and ball joints look with the stacked spacers?I'm thinking about doing the same thing you've done
