Default Alloy or Steel HBS level kit?

I'm going to order a 2.5" level kit tomorrow form hell bent. Is there any advantage/disadvantage between the steel and alloy kits?

I just put the steel 2.5" kit on my 04 SCab FX4. Looks sick. From what I've seen in posts online, there's some sort of a chemical thing that goes on with the alloy version. Not quite sure what exactly it was, since there were alot of big words in the posts. HBS Steel kit is my recommendation to anyone that asks now.

In layman terms, Salt and other road chemicals corrode the aluminum alloy and turns it scaley white. I have HBS and its powder coated steel. I love it
