I have mine screwed to the back of the rear seat in my Fusion, so it is actually in the trunk. Two weeks ago, it overheated on me. Never thought it would happen in the winter. Of course, I had it cranked for about 45 minutes. Lesson is, no matter where it is it can overheat.

I put two twelves under back seat and hid a 1000 watt amp under the middle front seat! It was semi tricky but theft proof and no cooling issues. I punish my stuff daily. Look into moving your there if you have the same front seat as me it is easy and you can still get to the amp to trim the bass levels!

So im havin a little problem with my sound system. I put 1 12" woofer under the back seat and then I put the amp behind the back seat. The problem is that with the heat rising down here the amp is starting to go into protection mode because of the heat. I had cut the insulation out whenever i put it in to help prevent this but apparently it isnt helpin much. Where do yall have your amps?
BUT I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOUR WOOFER,WERE YOU HAVE IT?
