my older ram(2001 off road edition) was lifted too high for the factory jack and my floor jack so i built "jack pads" similar to what a crane uses to set the outrigger feet on. i used LVL scraps(wooden beams) and built about a 2ft square and it was about 6" thick. i then cut notches in the top so my floor jack wheels fit in the notches not allowing the jack to move on the wood... i also built jack stand pads out of 2x10's and stacked them about 8" high, nailing each board as i stacked them....(yea im an ex-framer, carpenter... housing market forced me to change careers)
you have a factory bottle jack?

the screw death trap it comes with should reach the LCL or axle to change a tire. that height isnt changing with a lift or level

This might work well for you. Most guys mount it somewhere in the bed or front/rear bumper. Seems to be one of those things that ALL offroaders have so I would assume that it works well for lifted vehicles.

toss it, it's not worth the metal it's made of, a hydraulic jack is not only easier, but more stable and safer

You carry it in your bed in case u get a flat? Ha! Just playin... I agree floor jacks are much better but the jack under the seat works fine when in a bind

haha I throw it in the tool box... I don't carry a spare unless i'm doing some serious offroading, so it doesn't do much use to me, but its nice when a buddy calls and says he needs some help

Bottle jack from Harbor Freight is a good way to go, but I am buying one of their aluminum floor jacks when I tow the boat. These things are super light! But a better question for the lifted crowd (with bigger tires) is "do you have a full size spare?" If you have a limited slip diff, you better get yourself a fullsize spare or you'll be swapping tires front to back to keep that diff from grenading.
