Default ? for all with fender flares...need help

Has anyone had success with using 3m double sided tape between truck body and rubber trim on fender flare to prevent paint damage from vibrations. have a set of Bushwacker extend-a-flares paintd and sitting in my garage but need advice.

But only if you are lifted with some super negative offset wheels. Otherwise, leave them in the garage.

I agree and I am. Never been a huge fan of larger fender flares on a stock level F150.

I sliced a strip of 3m automotive tap in half (vertically) to make it nice and thin, then I applied it along the flares before I installed them for the same reason. Seems to be working out quite well.

Thanks bro, thought about cutting 1/2" in half but local Oriellys ordered 1/4" x 20yd for me so I can save the extra time. Guess I have a project for tomorrow.
