Alarm Won't shut off - Bat Replace
I just replaced the battery on my 2006 F150 and as soon as I hook it up the alarm goes nuts.
I think this is an aftermarket alarm because there is a button to turn it off (I think that button is for it??) under the dash and it does not look factory.
I tried holding down any of the 4 buttons on the keyless entry while connecting the battery and that did not help.
I tried the button under the dash and that no workie?
Any ideas?
BTW I did not buy this alarm, it was already installed when I bought it.

Answer:
1. Hook the battery up.
2. Ignore your neighbors stares.
3. Close the hood, close all doors.
4. Push the lock button on the remote.
5. Alarm will turn off.
6. Go get beer and relax.
