Just did the gotts mod last weekend and the silencer removal today. Definitely notice a difference in throttle response - doesn't have that lag when you press on the pedal. After the silencer was removed, I did notice a difference in sound as well - sounds more like a V8. I don't know if anyone else had the same problem in removing the silencer but man was it a PITA. I COULD NOT for the life of me, get the accordion pieces off - so I was forced to remove the silencer w/ pliers - Was extremely difficult getting past each bump in the accordion piece.. But I managed to maneuver it out! Spent a total of $10 for a make shift CAI. Worst comes to worst, you have to actually buy a CAI (IF YOU SCREW UP THE MODS). So all in all, I am happy with the mods. The 5.4 really needs more air flow.. Thanks to all that posted the mods!
